Most people using AdWords
make the same mistake: they concentrate on ROI.
What actually matters is
profitability.
Suppose you have two choices: spending £1
and making £1000 or spending £1000 and making £5000, which
would you rather do?
The first option gives you a shocking ROI
of 100,000%.
The second option gives you a decent ROI
of 500%.
But would you rather make £1000 or
£5000?
Of course in the ideal world
you would spend £1000 and make a 100,000% ROI
but realistically you are not going to achieve
that. But do focus on profitability and don't spend too
much time worrying about your ROI. Profitability is usually
improved fastest by focusing on conversion.
